This is a smooth concrete path with bikers, joggers, walkers and more. It's very easy and right on the ocean.
There is a beach. You have to step off the concrete and make it happen. Sandspit is also a great wave to surf during the right conditions. This walk is an easy peasy walk after lunch at Brophy's.
This is a great walk at Santa Barbara harbor. It take you along the sea wall with the harbor on one side and the ocean on the other. The sea wall goes out to the sand sip at the mouth of the harbor with great views of S.B., the wharf, Channel Islands . Great sunrises and sunsets.
Alan Fucile must be confused. This trail is not as he described it. Very developed concrete sidewalk around commercial fishing harbor. No plovers but plenty of gulls.
Beautiful beach. looks almost untouched by man, there was alot of snowey plovers
