pretty boring trail, good exercise

Many trails overgrown but still passable. I had to bushwhack with my poles a lot. Telegraph is nice right now with the big trees and babbling brook.

Great hike thru overgrown thistle and mustard plants. Saw lots of wildlife; including 2 beehives on thistle plants, rattlesnake, tons of lizards, beetles, butterflies, rabbits, hawks. Lots of scat on the trail. Nice table with gazebo at 4 trails about 1/2 point if you do the steep side first.

Great trail, stated counter clockwise to get the approx 1000 ft elevation gain behind me first. Lots of snakes, rattlers, today almost stepping on the first one hiding on the rolled mustard plant stems from utility trucks. He was a big guy, the next two were much smaller. I was working the trail hard wearing sunglasses, took them off and slowed after the first very close engagement. I watched the trail very carefully afterwards until it opened back up. Be careful out there and on alert!

Amazing hike as always. I recommend going counterclockwise and get the challenging part over with during the first few miles.

Hard dirt trail with 2 tiny creek crossings that you can hop over. Hill is pleasant 3 mile uphill with excellent good views the whole way up, the next 5 miles are occasionally shaded by trees and have no views. Bikes go through here constantly so be advised that you need to be cautious around some corners to not get hit.

Everything is extremely green and lush right now. Streams from rain runoffs along the trails. Make sure to wear boots somewhat muddy after rains. Fairly moderate hike until mile 5 where you’ll hit a pretty long and steep climb. Great work out and a really nice hike this time of year.

Great medium length fairly difficult-Moderate trail. Bring plenty of water. Almost all elevation gain on one half of hike. If you want to take the elevation on early, head counterclockwise at start.

nice hike, lots of up hills and down hills. able to finish the hike in 3 hours. beware that there are a lot of ants and ant holes. bring a hat as there isn't a lot of trees and shades.

This would have been a great hike if I had a not hiked alone, I did 9 miles, and went up to San Juan, that part was great. However, i went 2 hours and 15 minutes without seeing another human, very unsettling, and I hiked 3+ miles down in the valley and had something following me in the trees. I blue my air horn a few times and it stopped. There are active mountain lions here, don't hike alone, be smarter than me
