Enjoy the beauty of the San Francisco Bay Trail. This section in Foster City can be completed in a loop and offers scenic views. This paved path offers chances for kite-flying and watching the kite-boarders in the Bay. Kids (and some adults too) will enjoy watching the airplanes landing nearby. This route also goes by Shoreline Park which encompasses Ryder Park and Seal Point Park. According to Access Northern CA (http://accessnca.org/access-northern-california/explore/explore-detail-view/?site_id=171): The Bay Trail is a recreational corridor that, when complete, will encircle San Francisco and San Pablo bays with a continuous 500-mile network of bicycling and hiking trails—much of it wheelchair and stroller accessible. The Bay is just to your left nearly all the way on this trail, and to your right, or right in front of you, is one little park after another. A half-mile out from Coyote Point you will see a very steep path running inland to small Harbor View Park, which people use mainly for baseball games and picnics. A half-mile farther is Ryder Park, with an accessible playground, group picnic area, outdoor classrooms, and restored wetlands. A large, tiered, concrete “water art” piece, the Shell Mound Gurgle, demonstrates how tidal action works. Accessibility: There is designated, van-accessible parking at the parking lot behind the yacht club at Coyote Point Recreation Area, and at Ryder, Seal Point, and Bayside/Joinville Parks. At the entry to the Bay Trail from the parking lot behind the yacht club, an exceptionally large divot makes passage difficult. The trail surface is paved or gravel and it is typically at least five feet wide. It is gentle in grade, all estimated to be 3% or less. Continuous cross-slopes may be tiresome for some manual wheelchair or stroller users. At Seal Point Park the side trail to lookout points are on firm terrain. There are accessible bathrooms at Ryder Park, Bayside/Joinville Park, and Seal Point Park and accessible picnic tables (with firm and stable paths and surfaces and at least 27 inches of knee clearance) at Ryder Park and Harbor View Park.

Parking is available at Sea Cloud Park

Nice easy walk and beautiful marsh land . Great place to bike for sure ! And in this time rn a great place to walk but still social distance. We enjoyed adventuring through the tall grass and checking out all the bird species around . There’s little hidden trails of the paved path so keep your eyes peeled !

This is a fantastic bike trail. There were some rough roads before the airport hotel area but other than that it was perfect. I started at around 3 pm and it was a little too windy then, but on the way down south it became much better. Watching airplanes ascending/descending is a bonus. Definitely will do it again.
