From Alta Vista Drive, go west. It will transition to E. Sunset Dr. Continue going west until you see the park on the right hand side.

There were many different trails. Seen a lot of birds and squirrels. There were many benches and water fountains in the shade. Nice park

First visit to this park. I liked it! I’m hard to please
Just because I’ve traveled quite a bit and stayed in beautiful places. I’ll definitely be back. Lots of trees , Places to sit and shade. My dogs loved it too. I even loved the drive up to it. It’s tucked into the hills of Redlands.

I'm a newbie to the hiking trail scene and thought this was a perfect place to start. Just the right mixture of flat terrain to inclines for a 5ft out of shape gal with a 6ft companion to break a sweat, huff and puff, and make me feel those leg muscles! if I lived walking distance i'ld be there every day.

Easy little Walking trail.

Easy hike. Very nice in the spring time. Great for kids. Lots to explore. Very short.

This is a short, enjoyable trail that loops around a park encased in an affluent neighborhood. I've walked it twice, and both times there was ample parking. Parts of the trail are shadeless, which can be uncomfortable in the summer sun, but sections do snake through covered areas and hideaways. The foliage is decent during the summer, but I can imagine it being impressive in the spring. There's also a large green field near the entrance of the park, which is a good place to chill whether you hiked or not.

I don't think this should be rated as a moderate hike. I'm not an experienced hiker by any means, but this was easy. More of a pleasant afternoon stroll than anything.

The park is okay. I could see how it would be pretty during the spring when everything is green and flowers are blooming. During summer it's all brown. Biggest downfall is that the trail is super short. I looped the outer rim of the park 3 times in about 25-30 mins, but it gets boring. The trail is not moderate either. It's fairly easy!

I would rate this as "easy" not moderate.

Peaceful, some wildlife to observe. Other visitors are respectful and friendly. Will come back here without question. It's clean and quiet, which is hard to come by.

Short hike.

This is a great place to have a regular hike with the kids. It's not very strenuous but there are a few dips and inclines that get your heart going.

The best place to park is on Sunset by Villa Verde. Our favorite trial is the Sunset Trail.
