I would rate this as “easy”, not moderate. No pay off or amazing views at all. Not really worth it to me. But good for people who may just want to be in nature and have a good walk.

nice hike however be advised the sage portion of the trail is a uphill winding extremely narrow overgrown mess. nice if you enjoy that sort of thing but my wife was freaked over the poison oak and bugs.

full circle of the park. 3-4 hours easy pace. Everything was lovely. Enjoy.

Mellow hike. Starts off with a small hill but doable for any age

This was such a fun hike on a beautiful day! The trail was easy to follow & the views are all over the place from seaside & the ocean to all the hills filled with tall trees. There’s plenty of uphill for a good mellow workout and lots of critters around to see and hear. It was a lonely trail. I only ran into two people. Peaceful day would highly recommend!

I walked this trail with my dog and we both really enjoyed it. Some parts are quite narrow which can be kind of tricky with a dog that is trained to stay at your side, but most of it is pretty wide. Lots of mosquitoes this time of year (March) and LOTS of poison oak so be weary if you’re allergic. Also got turned around a few times, but it was easy to get back to the right path. All in all, it’s a great trail with beautiful scenery! Will definitely be back!

Trails are well maintained. Some hills but not too bad. Nice views.
