Awesome trail! Loved putting 3 trails together to form a loop. Great views. Very little to no shade. Exposed. Bring a hat. I was burning up!!! Still had a great day! Definitely recommend

Loved this short, well-maintained trail. Very scenic with panoramic views out over Santa Barbara and the ocean, and interesting rock formations. The loop section had no shade so would be very hot in summer.

Best seat in the house for a Santa Barbara sunrise

Arguably one of the best panoramic views of Santa Barbara to Carpinteria. Unfortunately, I hiked on an overcast and rainy day. I can’t wait to come back when the skies are clear. It’s pretty exposed so I imagine it would get pretty toasty if it’s not raining on you like it was for me. Be sure to pack sunscreen, water or start earlier in the day.

you pass through, around and on top of some really awesome rocks. there are parts with no shade but it’s not too long before you get back to more comfortable areas. great views the whole way. loved it!

Nice hike as always. A bit rocky and dead since we haven’t had rain. Go super early to avoid people with off leash dogs.

Not too many flowers during this time of the year. Decent variety of terrain. The movable rock formation is definitely worth checking out and taking some pictures. Beautiful mountain views but unfortunately, it was too foggy to see the ocean. Overall very nice hike with a lot of locals in the area (not too touristy), not too difficult as long as you can bend your knees.

more of a lollipop than a loop. you hit saddle rock immediately and the rest is a loop around the hill. a little overgrown, you may want to wear pants. great views of Santa Barbara!
