Attempted to do a loop but had to turn around due to the high water level on the Carmel River. Trail after Pine Valley is extremely overgrown. DO NOT ATTEMPT WITHOUT PROPER GPS. I had two different forms and still got lost at some points. This route includes miles of bushwhacking, climbing over dozens of downed trees, and fending off ticks every 10 minutes. Ended up with 2 tick bites by the end of it.
