Love the coastal trail. Pirates Cove is worth a look — lots of porpoises out today!
we went as far as Tennessee beach and looped back to cut it slightly short to make it back for lunch. beautiful hike, very exposed and on certain parts it's slippery. specifically the steep way out of Tennessee beach, closed to the water, might be better uphill as we did.
Hard but beautiful. Some parts of trails are closed but there are always alternative trail.
Trail was closed off at a few points. I had to turnaround at the Tennessee Beach Lookout because trail was closed and there was no way around. If you want to go this route I’d recommend looking up the Muir Beach to Rodeo Beach trail then just take that reverse. I imagine that one goes all the way through since there’s plenty of reviews on it. I also hoped to trail run but there was a lot of steep sections with loose footing so decided not to risk it.
