An absolutely stunning hike, follow the Coastal Trail along the edge of the Pacific Ocean. From the bluffs, watch gulls soar, and listen for seals down below. Connect to the Tennessee valley trail to reach the Haypress Camp

Beautiful hike! Steady incline all the way up, but fun places to explore along the way to take it easy. The view is stunning all the way. Exposed though, no shade.

Fantastic hike. Great views. Somewhat strenuous climb up but worth it.

Free and plentiful parking. Trail starts at a beach where you can enjoy watching surfers. Heads steadily up and actually away from the coast - follow signs for trail, or if you choose get sidetracked on the smaller trails that run closer to the coast- just know they don’t necessarily connect back to this trail. On clear days you’re rewarded with views and on foggy days with ethereal beauty - can’t go wrong.

Gorgeous views of the water and there’s a beach right there too! Somewhat steep to get up there at first

Beautiful views the whole trail and parking is pretty easy. There’s a public transit bus that comes here too!

Awesome hike to do with a dog- had mine off leash on a Saturday afternoon and had zero problems, ran into a bunch of other dogs on and off leash. Unbelievable views!

The view from Hill 88 is incredible and many of the views while heading up the mountain are also well worth the hike. It's neat explore some of the old bunkers around on the way up as well. Bring sunscreen, we did get a little burnt seeing as there isn't any shade. Parking was simple, free, and right at the bottom of the hike.

The views are great and the bunkers are fun to walk through and around. If you stay on the marked trail, it is mostly paved. I found myself taking all of the dirt detours and stopping often for pictures. There is zero shade so plan accordingly. Parking is easy and free. Steady uphill climb to the top with one or two steeper sections. I kept my dogs on the leash and did see a coyote who was unphased by us.

This was a beautiful location. Arrived around 4PM to a foggy mountain and ocean view. There were two routes to take: a hiking trail and a bike trail. I detoured off the trail many times which I highly recommend. There are many old army bunkers all over the hills and recommend visiting them and even climbing inside of them (if you're brave enough). The views were spectacular but the fog covered them up 75% of the time. Easy to moderate hike. ***Bring layers, water, light snacks, and a camera.
