River Walk Loop at Kern River is a 1.1 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Bakersfield, California that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, running, bird watching, and road biking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Connections available here to the Kern River Parkway Bike Trail. Accessibility: This cement and brick trail is estimated to typically be at least 6 feet wide. The slope is estimated to be gentle (all 3% or less). There are at least 7 designated wheelchair-accessible parking spaces with access aisles at the large paved lot at the Park.
Some available facilities are restrooms, gazebos, and the Bright House Networks Amphitheater.
