Didn’t do the whole trail, but hiked in this area for 5 miles. Pretty flat, fairly exposed, lots of horseback riders and horse poop. Not a whole lot to look at but we were trying to avoid the crowds of Auburn.

We didn’t really stick to the outlined trail, rather took offshoots where we saw it to be too muddy or too busy with other hikers. Great hike but be sure to bring more than enough water in the summer months

Little muddy after the recent rain. Don't assume the trails here go where you think they will! Use the map.

Fun trail, fairly flat....couple underwater spots but easy enough to skirt past or simply go around.

Nice rolling terrain. Would be interesting to see and compare it during different seasons. Right now ground is dry and oak trees are leafed out. Imagine green grasses in winter and naked oaks! Lots of sun. In Sept. Go early.

Lots of ticks & stickers! Hot, dusty and not much shade. My least favorite hike I've taken to date. Our dog was covered in stickers (& ticks...blech). If I'd been riding a horse I would rate this much higher. Very easy terrain to navigate.

Wonderful hike! There are 2 sections on the hike that are washed-out, but there are detours that are only a bit out of the way! Totally doable, great hike! Fun water features along the way as well!

Hiking

Great hike overall. Stayed on trails as we saw a snake & lots of poison oak off trail. Could improve trail signage as many intersections and forks aren’t marked causing confusion & some backtracking. Several small creek crossings were very muddy with little to no makeshift “bridge” materials resulting in more backtracking. Ended up hiking 9.8 miles & enjoyed every minute - it was an adventure!
