Rim Trail is a 4.5 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near San Diego, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

It's just so dry, dusty, and rocky. There is a lot of chaparral, but no shade. The markers are hit and miss.
You're looking at the 52 for a good chunk of the hike. Plus the power lines. . .humming at you.
I get it, it's convenient, but there are so many trails EASY to get to in the SAME park.
It's how I imagine the surface of Mars at the beginning stages of terraforming.
