This is an EBMUD trail that connects the Valle Vista staging area to the East Ridge trail in Redwood Regional Park. You'll hike through a dense redwood forest, over two bridges and through a series of switch backs up the east ridge. You need to have an EBMUD trail permit and you must sign in upon entering at the Valle Vista staging area. http://www.ebmud.com/files/6914/3284/4664/south.pdf

Still have my EBMUD permit in my wallet from 10 years ago... Great trail that doesn't get hiked nearly as much as Redwood Regional.
