Super fun trail. Great with kids and dog. Lots of little off shoots to explore. It’s rained recently so we saw a fun waterfall at the end of the trail. Highly recommend

Overgrown, minimal shade. I think the trail would be alot better if we had more rain this year. not really too much to see. the one thing we liked is how quiet it is- we only saw one other family

A little overgrown, but nice because it's very lightly trafficked..only came across one person but heard a few others. Couple different splits off this trail can be taken to make it a little longer. Not as pretty in the fall because it's so dry, but still some great views. Would definitely come back for the flowers in the spring based on other reviews.

beautiful in the spring. not crowded. met a family with two unleashed German shepards. They had to hold barking dogs while I was passing by. can happen on any hike I guess.

Good quick trail to bring kids and see the poppies. There’s also a slight “waterfall” on the trail. Conditions were so perfect for the desert blooms and water viewing.

Drop the kids at Twin Peaks and take a quick stroll. Total undiscovered gem. Probably shouldn’t even write this review. Some of the best flowers outside of Anza Borrego. Area was scorched in the the Witch Creek blaze of 2007. Continue after what feels like the end to discover caves and water falls and peaks higher than tooth rock. (Also some unfortunate motor bikes using the back area for jumps and tracks currently.). It’s a 4 for me for convenience, flowers, lack of people and variety of on and off trail exploring for kids.

Easy hike with beautiful scenery and wildlife. Although there is a highway near by, the sounds don’t contaminate the canyon. Trail is leveled for the most part. Towards the end of the trail becomes rocky and hilly. Great for dogs, plenty of beautiful meadows. Various birds to look out for like woodpeckers, hummingbirds, and hawks cruising around. Beautiful fresh water stream running in between the trees in rainy seasons.

Good hike with all the rain, but I can imagine it be very boring without it. It’s nice, quick hike, but not worth the drive for.

Come on now. If Angel's Landing in Zion is a five, and Iron Mountain is maybe 4.2, in what universe is this little trail a 4? It's covered in horse pucky, power lines, and surrounded by houses. It's kind of lame on a national scale, no? If you're local it's a good dog walk, that's about it.

This is a very pretty little hike. I think this hike would be better in the winter months. It is so hot in August and the creek is dry. When you arrive at this location you might just miss it if you are not careful because there is just a tiny little sign that says trail. There are no bathrooms and no parking lot. There was a trail that went straight and one that went right. I went straight and the trail eventually just ended with some boulders. I would like to go back and explore what happens when you go right. I think it might take you down by the creek.

Nice little walk...feels like you are far away from civilization when you are so close to homes. Watch out, however. A rattlesnake crossed our path and we nearly stepped on it. Didn't even warn us with its rattle. I imagine they'll be a lot of them this year with the rain we've had, so take it easy.

A very nice walk, with fun features. Easy but you can add a little scrambling in for more fun.

The wildflowers on this trail are going OFF right now. Most flowers in town easily. TONS of poppies and lupine you can see from the drive up to Ramona. Perfect time to get out there!!

Very quaint, simple, but oh so breathtaking. The trail itself ends not very interestingly...before the end, veer off to the left to get to the wall and waterfall, creek. Absolutely gorgeous
