Spectacular trail. Well maintained, breathtaking views, good climbs. Lots of shade. Connects to many trail systems. I couldn’t get enough!! Bring a light rain jacket just in case. Also, will be trail closure on purisma from September 15 - November (2019).

Very nice hike. Once you get off of the biking trail that’s when it really gets beautiful. Signs indicate that parts of this trail will be closed from September 15 to November 2019 for bridge maintenance.

Love this trail. Straight up 4 miles and then straight down. Wide trail. Mostly shade. Very pretty. Bathroom at bottom and top.

Such an amazing trail run. I took this trail in the opposite direction as shown in the map. It was mellow enough of climb that I could run most of the way up...until the last mile before the peak. It gets a bit steeper there. Beautiful Redwoods down in the valley, little rabbits along the ridge line, and lots of shaded woods with beautiful green ferns. Great way to spend a Sunday morning run.

First time out here and a beautiful trail. I did the trail counter clockwise and you get all of the incline out of the way at the beginning.
