Easy flat trail for running or walking. Cute jack rabbits right on the path. Lots of Joshua trees and creosote bushes along the way.

This isn’t considered hiking but it is a great place to observe some desert plants. It is well maintained and flat. I take my niece and nephew a lot for exercise and to spot birds and jack rabbits. It’s a great alternative to a regular park.

Very nice and flat nature walk. Trails are well groomed and made accessible to all. This is great for families with small children as there are barriers to keep kids on trail. There's plenty of desert wild and plant life to see.

My first hike ever, it was nice and peaceful ! Not hard at all, lots of wildlife, some friendly! It was nice, I even liked the fact that there were kids playing at a school near by!

Can’t even be called a hike. Dirt path in the middle of the city. Surrounded by a pretty ghetto neighborhood.

Love Prime Desert!! An easy, flat walk through Joshua trees and juniper bushes. Lots of wildlife to see, especially jackrabbits and hares. Will definitely be someone I visit often. Can wait to see what plants and wildlife we discover here in the spring and summer!

Pleasant little interpretive trail on the edge of suburbia. Lots of wildlife, including many jackrabbits. Mostly flat and easy trail, fine for strollers and kids.
