This was so beautiful, truly a gem in this community! People all wore masks and were very polite. I came early and finished by 635 am. So there was about 6 people out walking/jogging. Trail is flat and compact sand. There is tons of wildlife; birds & rabbits. Informational posts and a nice parking area with bathrooms! If ur around here come and walk! It’s gorgeous

Clean and just a nice place to stretch your legs, get some sun and outdoor air. Very easy trail and weaves through a lot of trees.

The trail is clean and well maintained. It is too short for running, so I would only recommend for a nice walk. I like the displays that explain to you different types of plants. However, no dogs are allowed.

It was so freaking pretty out there. We spent a couple hours weaving through the trails and enjoying the wildlife and plants. It doesn’t even feel like it’s in the middle of a residential area.

I like the recent expansions of the trails on the south side. Not more scenic, but the added distance is nice!

The wildlife alone makes this a captivating visit. Great flat hike. Some of the wildlife you will find are ling eared hairs, squawk jays and prairie dogs all on full display. It’s a tree preserve and if you like funky trees you’ll love this place.

Walking

This is my favorite place to get out and be active as a novice hiker. If you walk each section of trail, you can easily get 3 miles. As of July 2020, newly paved paths are open in the large northwestern section adding to the possible interchangeable routes. Squirrels, cottontails, jackrabbits, and lizards are visible at any time. Coyotes and snakes are uncommon, but can be seen occasionally. If you have a little one afraid of ants, beware. Little shade available in the west and northwest trails minus a large tree at the NW corner of the "Figure 8 on its side" where there is a bench to relax if you don't mind ravens above you.

Very easy relaxing trail! There are maps, and the pathway is marked clearly. It loops around a lot so it can get pretty lengthy. I definitely did not walk it all.
