Mainly incline, great workout, and such a beautiful view at the very end. Third time doing this trail and plan on going again! Saw a couple of tarantulas, so be aware of surroundings.

Good hike. Get here early as it gets hot. There’s a good amount of shade for the first half of the trip but the second half is a lot of time becoming friends with the sun. Park at the big lot before the trail head. The pullout parking at the trail head has no parking signs. Bring water!

Trail was mostly quiet due to early morning start. Shade on and off. Good incline. Nice, calming, bubbling creek runs along side the trail for a bit.

Did this hike a bunch of times, good incline, good workout. Last leg is steeper but if anyone wants to try more then there is another smaller and narrow trail a little after the steep left turn which goes to the mountain top, it's 2X steeper. Be aware the narrow trail has gravels and soil is loose, so it can be slippery.

1st time on this trail. I was expecting it to be extremely challenging, but it was doable. Even with 90% of the trail being inclined there was plenty of flat surfaces to rest. If your looking for a step up from your last hike. This is it

Great trail...definitely a tough hike! The incline is brutal, but the view at the top was worth it. Took about 2.5 hours total with some rest on the way up. Come ready to work!

A fun hike with a surprisingly steady incline all the way to the peak with a nice wide trail for social distancing. No shade in the latter section of the trail so go early if possible. Cool views once you reach the top! Also make sure to leave a potato as an offering !

Good quick hike, good views if done after sun down. Animals are active but not bothersome. Large black bear was on the trail after the switch back. Didn't seem to mind us as we kept our distance and decided to turn back.
