From CA70 turn onto Gulling Street to cross the bridge over the Middle Fork of the Feather River (right turn when traveling east, left when westbound). Follow Gulling St back past the post office to the baseball field. The trail begins on the right side of Gulling St. just before the pavement ends. There is rough parking (grass/dirt) at the trail head or a small paved parking lot by the baseball field.

Wonderful views... good hike

Not meant for Mt biking. First part is a lot of fun but most of the trail scales the ridge of the mountain and is unrideable for anyone below an expert. Vertical ascent with loose shale and large ruts. We walked our bikes to the top hoping it would get better at some point. It didn’t. Probably great for ATVs or Jeeps.

Good hike! Trailhead is a little confusing. Park by the end of the road and walk on the dirt road to the right. That's your trailhead. Keep tracking the map on the app so you won't miss the turn to the left up the mountain.
