The hike was short and easy and ends with a wonderful access to the lake. The trail is a bit rocky and overgrown, but the major problems were the ticks and burrs along the way. While the water is wonderfully cool and comfortable, be careful of leeches

Nice and easy hike that ends at the water. Small pull off at the side of the road for parking. No people when I went. Lots of ticks, burs and fox tails for those with dogs

A very easy flat hike. Last hiked in mid-April after rains had the creek high. Flowers everywhere. A nice combination of grassy, Oak-filled pasture lands and rocky canyon. An Uncrowded and remote hike. When water is low a rocky sandbar halfway along hike makes a good lunch spot.
