Point Vicente Lighthouse is a 1.6 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Rancho Palos Verdes, California that offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and bird watching and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Flat terrain most of the way with a great view of the ocean coast.
awesome trail, very easy hike. saw some dolphins out there today, keep your eyes peeled for them!
We added a few legs down to the water to and made this a 7 mile hike!
Its more of a walking trail than hiking trail. Nice views of the shoreline though. You can walk down to the shore as you walk down the trail. Pretty cool spot to walk with family and friends or even go on a date but I wouldn’t come here with the expectation of an actual hiking trail.
Nice easy trail for the kids. No shade though so next time will be early morning for us.
Entrance was closed for upkeep, but it opened back up further down. Good hike except for the several groups of people not wearing masks...
Quick easy trail, lots of people so wear your mask. Dogs on leash is fine & not too hard.
Walk 56 in 10,000 Steps a Day in L.A. More people than I was expecting for a holiday, but it was a beautiful day for a walk.
It was perfect!! A little sun. A little coastal fog. Calm ocean with the sun reflecting on it.
