There’s a lone, sprawling tree overlooking the pier near the end of the trail. There are better picnic spots earlier in the trail, but if you’re planning to sit and eat near the end of it, that’s the spot.

Great hike! Flat, well-marked, not busy today (weekday). No beach access, but major payoff in terms of views and ocean energy. Porta-potty at trailhead and 2 miles in.

Great trail, awesome views, few other hikers. Just be careful to stick to the path, can get muddy otherwise.

HikingGreat!

Gorgeous hike along the cliffs! So cool to see eroded rock formations just off the coast and imagine what the terrain would be like in the far future. We saw plenty of cow...evidence...but no actual cows, though it was still exciting to be on the lookout! There was one short steep and slippery ascent on the way out, otherwise it was a flat walk through fields and trees. Beautiful at 9am.

Great trail, easy to follow but be sure to take the side trails near the bluffs for the best views

Was pleasantly surprised, mostly because I was expecting it to be busy and boring as it's only an easy one. Interesting rock formations, lots of tide pools/caves and wildlife. Would have spent the whole day here if I had the time.
