Piru Creek Trail is a 2.8 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Castaic, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, birding, fishing, and fly fishing and is accessible year-round.
The trail starts at a roads end. I actually didn't follow the trail southward and instead ventured northward . The main road has many little side ventures leading to streams on both sides of the road (starts on left then is on right). There are some more technical paths to take but I was just feeling the place out. Even came to a bee honey keep back in. Was a fun experience which yielded many fantastic shots
A short but beautiful hike along a creek in a shady valley.
