Dog friendly. Mix of shade and sun. Not too crowded. Trail is narrow most of the time.

This was a nice trail. Some steep incline and narrow paths, but nothing unmanageable. Had 2 puppies with us and they loved smelling ALL the things. Mostly in the sun, but some patches of shade. Did this trail in the evening so it wasn't as hot and there was still parking available. Recommend for a casual after work hike.

second half was way too dangerous for hikers with no advanced equipment.

One of my favorite hikes in the Bay Area. I took a group of gradeschool-age kids from my church here twenty years ago. Love it still. Parking lot fills up but you can park on Mission Blvd. With Covid, they’re closing the parking lot early too, 5:30 pm, I think.

A wonderful and easy to walk trail! Not a ton of shade however so better to avoid on very hot days.

Great trail going through different hills among cattle and cows! Super pretty specially with tress in bloom and green hills! We loved it! Specially you can have your dog off leashes from the second gate! Trail was very clean and pretty, not enough signs to follow, if I didn’t have AllTrails we probably could get lost. Ample parking spaces as well! Will do it again

a fairly easy trail. some areas at the beginning of the loop can get pretty crowded with visitors. once you start going towards the back of the trail much higher up, then there's less people to run across. I would recommend bringing a good pair of shoes though as well as water and some hiking poles. Made the adventure that much more easier.

Great walk through the hills. Trail narrows once you get off High Ridge Loop, and has nice shade. Saw wild boars and a coyote! I’ll definitely be coming back to do this trail in the summer, when it’s not muddy.

The bridge which is middle of the trail is under construction until Oct 31 2019. I couldn't go through the loop.
