This is a pretty hard hike. At the end the trail includes climbing over rocks so not the best for young children. But the view from the top is incredible and absolutely worth it. It took a lot longer that I anticipated so I recommend bringing more water than you think you need.

Steep midway but view at the top was worth it! Park on the road to avoid the fee.

Great short hike, it’s a drive to get too for most people but anyone with dedication can go there for a good day hike. The drive discourages the lazy people so no teenagers and very little people. Great view, kept nice.

It a very easy trail, simple loop. It’s a great walk in spring

It was very steep, but completely worth it! My husband and I are pretty out of shape and did Ok with a few breaks. Will definitely do it again.

Great hike pretty steep at a few points but the view at the top is worth it. Good conditioning trail for hiking before half dome

Nice little steep uphill trail. Only about 3miles round trip. I don’t like going during summer because it’s dry and dead. Spring and fall are best. Sunsets up here are AMAZING.

Beautiful trail. There’s a sign that says no dogs but there’s also a sign next to it saying dogs on leash allowed. Trail was nice, a bit narrow and I went on a holiday so it was a bit crowded but everyone was friendly. Extremely uphill, make sure to bring a ton of water and maybe eat a banana before so you don’t cramp.

Great hike, good uphill trek. Only issue is this trail has become so popular it can get overcrowded at times.

Totally fun hike. It was foggy in the valley and beautiful at the top.

Up hill was the hardest for me. I took breaks. There was some areas that were steep. Accomplishing the hike was the best feeling. Coming back down was a breeze.

Great trail run to prepare for spartan races. Do a few laps and you are ready for a beast!
