Good hike. We did 3 miles, going up to the top of the hill across the lake from the parking lot. Had the kids with us and they did fine.

If the parking lot is full (which it normally is), public street parking is available near Chapman Hills Elementary School. It’s just one block away from the park entrance. Corner of Canyon View and Aspen.

Easy trail! I went around 1:30pm on a Saturday, and there was a good amount of parking, which costs $3 for the whole day. There are signs on the trail. Only takes an hour.

It’s an easy trail very dry- better for runners or bikes - as for a walking trail vegetation is dry and not much to look at . Would not recommend this on a hot day.

Nice little trail for a short weekday hike. Length is a bit overestimated, my watch clocked it at about 2 miles. Parking is still closed but there is street parking in the neighborhood. Fairly crowded so be sure to bring a mask.

Very nice hike with amazing view and flowers mostly due to the weather. There were a lot of people hiking, Not many bikes which I liked

Really pretty views the entire way! Very hot and sunny, light traffic. Dog friendly but only early morning or late day to avoid the heat for them. Parking is currently closed but you can park at a nearby neighborhood entrance (don’t pass the no parking sign).

Super fun and beautiful. Busy. Steep inclines - took my 6 and 7 year olds and we made it ok but walked most of the strep terrain.
