Water was cold but great! Found a snake on the trail through the forest. Not too many people around. It was a really great day to hike.

Easy hike with wide trails shared with bikers... plenty of water at the waterfall with all the recent rainfall.

A short mid day hike to the waterfalls before our leisurely drive along the beach from Del Mar to Carlsbad, stopping by for late lunch in Encinitas.

lots of bikers not wearing masks.... yucky! beautiful trail and my dog loved it kind of, she's just very lazy but that's beside the point. an extremely easy stroll with insanely good payoff bc of the spicy pq waterfall and fun bouldering

Nice and easy trail. There was trash here and there. Rewarding lil waterfall at the end. No restroom at entrance.

Fun trail, relatively kid friendly except for the actual falls. Did it with a 4 and 6 year old but not gracefully. My shoes will need some drying out!

Peñasquitos has a bunch of nice trails (for hiking and mountainbiking) around the waterfall. Pretty busy on the weekends. Lot of alternatives to this and all other trails so good for all skill levels and ages.

Super accessible, great biking trail, friendly peers. Surrounding area is nice with a ton of activity. Went with Joel and saw two deer (fawn and doe) and a coyote!! Saw some nice animals tracks too.

WalkingNo shade

Easy trail but very boring. If you like trails that take you through tree lined paths this is not that trail. It’s wide open with no shade. Lots of bikers and tons of people at the waterfall not social distancing.

HikingGreat!

kind of hard to follow the trail the first time as there is a lot of trails with hardly any signage but there were enough locals to help point in the right direction. very beautiful, quiet and well laid out trails.

Enjoyable Saturday walk. This can be an easy stroll or a moderate hike with plenty of options to take a variety of paths along the main trail.

Nice trail but too many people at the waterfalls, many without masks so we turned back. Will need waterproof boots after rain to cross the water.

Lovely short hike from this trailhead, get to see the canyon, the waterfall and the bridge! Was great seeing most people wearing masks when we passed each other.
