Went mid afternoon and it was pretty empty. Gorgeous views. Little breeze in the beginning of the hike but got really hot after a while. Great uphill workout

Came early Monday evening and it was busy but not crowded. The AllTrails map takes on a couple foothills off of taming trail which are fun but I didn’t have the right shoes. Street parking.

Really great hike! Steady incline for a min 2 miles... views throughout. Lots of people on the hike so be sure to bring a mask! I wore mine on my chin and put it up as people walked by me as the trail can get narrow at times.

You have to park about half a mile away from the trail, so the round trip is closer to 6 miles. Absolutely beautiful views throughout!!

Nice hike with great views! There’s no trailhead parking so you gotta park on the street. Beginning of the hike is a bit steep and then it tappers off. Like all LA hikes there’s no tree coverage so it get hot!

Steep all the way and don’t recommend when it’s 80+ degrees

Great hike with epic views the whole way. Highly recommend. Just be mentally prepared that the trail, because of lots of turns and little hills, always looks like it is about to end. So you keep thinking "almost there" for a good portion of it.

To the young shirtless guys and the girl singing at the top of her lungs--you may think you're invincible but WEAR A DAMN MASK for the consideration of others!! Great hike otherwise.

Good trail for a great workout and an amazing view of the ocean and the city! A little steep due to elevation, but excellent workout for an early morning, not many people and the fire road is quite wide for 6 ft social distancing. Most people wear masks.

Great trail! Gets packed early. Parking lot by Los Liones trail head is full by 8 AM and way down at 11 AM is crowded in the single track area. But the views of the ocean are worth it.

Don’t follow the map! Make the hike an out and back starting in reverse. The trail it sends you on is not maintained extremely steep. Beautiful views. Ended up being closer to 8 miles.

WARNING: the closest parking on Saturday’s and Sundays is 1/2 mile from trail entrance, on neighborhood streets. and it’s all uphill to walk to the entrance. My recording includes that walk from my car to trail entrance. I like this trail better than its sister Los Liones. The path is wider for social distancing and the views are better since you’re going higher up. I took the “off trail” paths on the second half of the hike which are narrow, a little overgrown, but are steeper and less crowded. And just more fun I think. And then great to run down the fire road back. No shade, so be prepared for heat and direct sun. Masks required l, and needed for parts of the trail where you can’t keep 6 ft apart.

Even though I made the mistake of parking allll the way down on Sunset Blvd last Saturday due to the tow-away signs (and related paranoia), the neighborhood is well-maintained and a neat hike up to the trailhead (and a well shaded walk back down as it gets hotter during the day). Some bugs and expectedly dusty for the fire roads but a great hike.
