Fun hike. I recommend climbing up to the neighborhood via the trail near the cliff at the end and doubling back that way to get the elevated view.

Takes a lot of effort. Do not under-estimate this trail. Damp ocean air and exposure to Sun makes you very tired. Navigating around the rocks and being careful not to slip takes a lot of energy, also. Check the high-tide time and not get trapped. If you cannot manage to get back to the trail head before the high tide, expect to be soaked up to your waist at some places. Get a hiking shoe or boot with really good wet grip.
