Backpacking the Coast Trail in Point Reyes from the Palomarin Trailhead to Limantour Beach. The trip can be done in two or three days depending on how slow you want to take it. Nearly the whole trip follows closely to the coast. Near the beginning their are a few lakes that are accessible from the trail. Alamere Falls is a great place to stop along the way and does not require a very long hike off the main trail.
