This is a beautiful hike! Last weekend we took the tram from Palm Springs, had lunch at Wellman Divide and continued on to Idyllwild for dinner. We were glad to be wearing long pants, since it started a little chilly, there are a half dozen fallen trees to scramble over, and the trail is overgrown in a few places. It isn’t especially difficult, but it is a bit long; at the end of the day, the four of us had each logged over 13 miles. We highly recommend it!

Fun but difficult hike! Started at the tram, hiked to Idyllwild, stayed the night and hiked back.
