Trail isn't marked very well but once you find your way it's a great hike and the scenery is beautiful.

The meadow was beautiful. We hiked late May, mid-day with our 8 and 10 year olds. I can see why the notes for this trail suggest it's use starting in July. Much of it was still covered in snow or blocked by fallen trees. We soon figured out that the trail follows stream beds which were flowing with the snow melt run off. Lucky we met experienced hikers who flagged the trail for us. We never would have made it to the meadow without their help. Can't wait to try this trail again in Summer when the path is cleared.

Drive to End of Silver Tip drive

Lots of snowshoe trails. Trails close to trailhead packed down by snowmobiles. Further on motorized vehicles are not allowed.

Very little altitude gain, but nice hike overall.
