This trail had beautiful views and cows, even a wild pig. But, it was super muddy and we werent prepared for that. A few times we had to hop over little streams, maybe its best to go when its a little drier out.

Great hike. Wouldn’t go during the summer. It’s all dead and there are lots of snakes.

Rolling grass and wildflower covered hills with a few strenuous up and down hill sections. No water on trail or in park, so bring plenty. Can go from sunny and dry to cloudy and muggy quickly, so dress prepared for both. Gorgeous wildflowers this time of year (Late March). Keep an eye out for a kind of moody herd of cows and keep your distance. Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. There’s rarely much traffic here. We did the hike with three kids ranging from 14-8. All pretty experienced hikers. They enjoyed it quite a bit and felt sufficiently challenged.
