trailhead is 3/4th mile from parking on side of road. cannot park anywhere closer than that. great hike, easy to moderate. awesome views and lot of canopy cover. you will rarely encounter anyone on the trail. one issue we did run into was a section of the train was closed out and the only way was to go back all the way or ...

Tried to do this hike but couldn't because there was nowhere to park. All areas were marked with No Parking signs.

hidden gem in the diablo foothills. amazing canyon and creeks. great hike for weekend warriors or first timers. easy hike without any major inclines. the trails have some winter storm damage. so watch for that. parking is not available t the entrance but about 100yards away there is extended road side area for parking. we started on this trail but ended up on some of the other trails. good to have the map (available at entrance) or the alltrails app. there are some boars out there though we never saw any. would do this again sometime
