Great walk today.

most definitely not for strollers! all the trails arw narrow and many of them are very eroded. Again, there is minimal to no signage. it does offer more shade than the Rice Tanch trail though.

This was a decent trail, but I found a few things wrong with it. The trails themselves are confusing and not clearly marked. you won't get lost, but it may be a bit frustrating. Definitely not not for someone with a time limit. There is very little to no shade. Bring a hat and lots of water! The last thing is that I push a stroller. There are times when it is very dificult to push it because they dumped a bunch of fine sand on the trail. Just stick to the edge and you'll be fine and get a cardio. Most of the trail is also really rocky so if your kid does not like off-roading, stick to the really easy fit trail which starts across from the playground.

Trailhead to the left once you enter the first parking lot. Took the Blue trail and there were several mild inclines along the way. Overall it was a pleasant hike, but I unknowingly took a few outside trails and found myself exiting into residential neighborhoods. :/

very easy walking trails. Great for elderly, children, dogs etc... flat and mostly packed dirt. Not much in the way of views on this side.

Love this trail! You can make it short or keep going further back to prolong the hike. Not hard for kids. Also fun for kids to see the frogs and lizards out there.

Fine for just walking. Very boring. Nothing to see. You will not get exercise unless you sprint the whole thing and throw in a couple burpies.

It's a nice easy hiking trail. Offering different views of Santa Maria.

I do this trail at least once a week. It's easy enough to take children but, still gets your heart rate up and it's beautiful.

Good hike for beginners. The steep incline at the beginning is the hardest part, but the rest is easy. I've taken a stroller up there, as well as had my 2 year old hike it and she did well. Great view from the top, on a clear day you can see as far as the ocean! Awesome hike if you want to spend a few hours out.

Not bad but seeing as how it was my first time here and was unfamiliar with the trail it took me a while. I took some GoPro footage so maybe I can upload it on YouTube so you can see what the trail is like.

This is a truly lovely place to get out into some good old fashioned nature if you're not in the mood/unable to do a more strenuous hike. Lots of lovely photo ops, places to sit and journal, and different trails to explore. There are only a couple of slightly-intense uphills, otherwise it's pretty flat.

My first trail. I picked this place because it said "easy". For a first timer it seemed a little on the moderate side but its beautiful and so worth the moments of being a tad out of breath haha. Very natur-y So many nice people on the trail that helped us with where each trail led. Loved it! Going again tomorrow :)

There's a few trails to take around the Orcutt Community Park area. If you take the trail East at the main vehicle entrance to the park, it goes over slow rolling hills. Great beginner mountain biking trail. My wife was able to handle it and she didn't have to walk up any hills. However, the trail at the West end of the dog park within Orcutt Community Park which goes up to the water tanks is sandy, steep and difficult to ride. However, it's a short trail to the water tank and worth walking up the steep parts. Going down the back side was ridable, though.
