Great workout and awesome views. The trial is steep so be prepared. The only issue is there is so much dog poop, if you’re not looking at the trail it’s almost a guarantee you’re going to step in some. It also smells like dog shit so that sucks but again, great workout.

Crazy area post-fire. Felt very Lord-of-the-Rings post-apocalyptic.

great trail but be warned that if you start the trail at the left of the park entrance, the first mile is all incline and can be very challenging

Start the trail to the right as that path is a more gradual climb and better kept. Coming down on the left is steeper and not as well maintained. Overall a great path though with medium traffic and only a few wash outs.

Great trail. Not for beginners or those early in their “get back in shape” routine. Steep incline in the beginning. Loved seeing all the pets though.

Nice trail close to the valley. Lots of wild flowers and wild life. Mostly birds and squirrels. . Definitely not an easy hike. Caution: lots of bees and there are rattle snakes in the area.
