Old River Levee Road is a 8.6 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Discovery Bay, California that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking and trail running and is accessible year-round.

Basic walking trail. Beautiful scenery next to the water. Love seeing the birds that are in the area. Better in winter months because it can get really hot in the summer months.

To be clear, I would run this trail backwards. I would recommend starting at Discovery Bay Marinia Habor

Hiking

Enjoyable hike in the area. Nice views and fun watching all the boats pulling skiers and rafts. I'm sure they were a lot cooler than me and my lab, Brook. It was a 100 degrees when we got back to the car... She's passed out now.
