Great trail for late morning walks. Beautiful scenary. Nice altitude. Just the right kind of short family friendly hike. Kids loved it.

A pretty nice trail considering your location to the suburbs. Other than that the trail great. First part of the hike takes you straight up to the top. It's good cardio especially if you run it or keep a decent pace. I saw plenty of wild flowers towards the last mile and a half of the hike if you take the trail clockwise. Also, be wary of rattlesnakes. A guy trail running in front of me ran right past one and didn't seem to notice

Good, easy hike. There was a very narrow trail section with long grass/vegetation on each side. Trailhead was near the golf course so you can always hit balls on the range after!

Good hike, some steep trails, so be prepared because there isn't anything to grab onto to pull you along. A walking stick would be helpful for beginners. Some pretty scenery and lots of green. A bit too close to civilization for my taste. It can get loud from the road, but all in all, a fun hike for my companion dog and self.
