Ohlone Greenway is a 10.4 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Berkeley, California and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from December until June. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

We had a great little walk and saw a lot of birds.
Love this bikeway through Albany and Berkeley - what a great use of the BART lands!
Off the street, under the BART tracks, and a lovely way to walk/skate/ride from North Berkeley BART through Albany and El Cerrito, to Del Norte BART and then finally to Richmond.
It's perfectly flat, perfectly paved, and a great way to get outside for a quick walk. I often incorporate this trail into commute rides or rides with my wife, and have also used it to walk the dogs, go rollerblading, walk to get groceries, etc.
While it is off-the-street, there are about a dozen street crossings with crosswalks as the trail makes its way through town.
For most of the trail, there are two paths: one for bicycles, the other for pedestrians. In my experience, most pedestrians prefer to walk on the bike path.
