Nice trail with views of the ocean This trail is a medium hike with a few difficult uphill climbs then down to a valley along a small stream to the ocean

Nice trail, gradual uphill for 5 miles then a gradual decent down. The loop on the way down was a little overgrown. A lot of mountain bikers but they all had bells on them so no problem. Decent down was nice because of the ocean breeze

Longer than expected... Most of the trails to the other different peaks in Montana de Oro get that wonderful cool coast air, this trail goes a bit inland. Start early and bring plenty of water when hiking in the summer months. Challenging on a warm day, but Beautiful.

Beautiful Hike....lot's of wildflowers. Views of different peaks. The day started off a little overcast, but then the sun broke through and we were able to see beautiful views from all angles. Highly recommended this hike.
