Great area to do as many or few miles as you like, and the up and down trails almost map out like a heartbeat! Mixed trail for bikers, runners, and hikers. Mixture of solid dirt, sand, and some pebbles around the 11 mile loop. Great for dogs, and most trails are good for strollers too. Plenty of places to park to join the loop at multiple spots. Very little to no shade, so make sure you bring plenty of water.
Get out early because is not a lot of shade. The first part is really nice and I liked the little creek.
Nice! Rocky for mountain biking , be cautious. Walking no problems. Nice views.
A varied tour of the preserve. Shaded areas, open plains, streams, and of course a great view of the old quarry. Worth your time.
Only did a small segment and didn’t really even stay on the right trails I like that this park has so many different routes you can take so I mostly just followed my dogs’ lead
It’s good to follow the trail selected but you can definitely veer off on the many, many connecting trails to make this as long and as difficult (or short and easy) as you want. Also, another obstacle we encountered was a lot of muddy areas so be aware of going days after heavy storms.
