Awesome hike, some portions of this trail have very few people while other portions get a little crowded. All in all I enjoy seeing so many active people. This route was my first 10 plus miler and was very challenging. Lots of ups and downs. Well maintained and would do it again.

First half is nice. Wild terrain away from city with steep incline. Second half truck and emergency vehicle roads capped by a stretch of paved road. Stick to the other fortuna hikes.

this trail is gorgeous -- well kept, and mostly easy-to-follow trail markers. I would rate it low on the "moderate" level tho (almost easy). It would be a fun one for kids because of the stream, the damn, and all the big rocks and trees for climbing.

Did this easy hike when it was lightly sprinkling and there was absolutely no one on the trail. Very lush and green, absolutely beautiful! While following a rocky creek, you'll pass at least 5 small foot bridges and climb over some rocks. Follow the trail shown by this app otherwise it's easy to go off onto a different route. A fairly easy trail which does have a tendency to get busy. I just got lucky.

kids loved it (3,5 and 6 months). could hear lots of snakes

This is an absolutely beautiful hike. So much greenery to enjoy and the seasonal streams. Fun for the whole family. Would recommend going in the early morning hours before the trails get too busy. For about half of this hike there’s a lot of shaded trees giving some sun protection but in the grasslands area there’s no shade so be prepared with some sunblock and extra water.

Easy hike! Beautiful flowers. Love the variety-rolling hills, boulders by a stream, some bushy areas. Fairly busy.

This trail was a blast! You’re by the small river the entire time, and the view is lovely. Great for beginners like myself! Will definitely return to see more flowers and build better stamina climbing the rocks!

Absolutely beautiful views on this trail! Perfect time of year for lots of greenery and wild flowers.

Amazing trail lots of flowers and waterfalls due to all the rain.Made this wonderful trail even more spectacular.

Beautiful trail right now. flowing water and very green. the rock scrambling at some points proved difficult with a toddler in a hiking pack, but we made it pretty smoothly.

Great 2-3 hour hike following the water! Some good geocaching in the area as well.
