Great hike! There are a few waterfalls. Go to the waterfall near the overpass to see them all. Very green right now. We did this with our 4 kids (ages 6, 8, 10, and 12) and they had a blast.

Great hike for a family. My little guys are 5 and 7 and they loved it.

there is actually water at the waterfall! Very busy due to social distancing. Still gorgeous hiking.

Great job. Kid and dog friendly... slippery rocks in some points but with caution you’ll be fine. Fun trail!

Cool trail. Overgrown in some areas, but not too bad. Only one steep area. Otherwise it’s very easy going.

this is one of our favorite trails, especially in the spring.

Good hike with no peaks to climb. Rainy and 55 degrees but ok

Beautiful hike along the stream. I came to a spot on the trail that had a steep pile of rocks to climb. The other side of these rocks was too steep for me to go down. I back tracked and crossed the stream on some rocks. This may not be possible when the water level is high. See my recording.

In town from Colorado. This was the perfect hike/run for an out of towner. Back half of the trail not crowded at all. Enjoyed a few peaceful moments at the waterfall at 2 mile mark. Front half of trail super crowded. Expected for a Sunday.

Absolutely gorgeous route, with plenty of sights to see. It’s heavily tracked, but still worth doing. Laid back, easy trail, if your just wanting to get a nice, relaxing hike in for the day. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Highly populated but very nice. Opportunities for some rock crawling if you want to go up the canyon.

Awesome hike, some portions of this trail have very few people while other portions get a little crowded. All in all I enjoy seeing so many active people. This route was my first 10 plus miler and was very challenging. Lots of ups and downs. Well maintained and would do it again.

First half is nice. Wild terrain away from city with steep incline. Second half truck and emergency vehicle roads capped by a stretch of paved road. Stick to the other fortuna hikes.
