North Whisper Ranch Trail is a 1.6 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Yucaipa, California that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Go East on County Line Road, left on Mesa Grande Dr. go North, 100 feet before Escena St. on the right hand side.
Trail provides wonderful views of the Yucaipa Valley and beyond, depending on sky clarity. Not much shade towards the end, so bring water during the summer. Very dog friendly. Good for hiking with kids, just make sure you keep an eye on them (trail runs along steep hill near the end.) Be sure to take pics, the views are quite a masterpiece!
Beautiful panoramic view...great for kids and beginners and with your dog along. Love it to get a quick hike/walk in and would be great for a quick trail run.

This was an easy walk, stays close to the residential areas. (Irritates me to no end that the residents along the trail encroach upon the public space with various structures, even clearing large areas for their own enjoyment.) Lots of wildflowers due to the copious amounts of rain that we’ve had this season. Birds and insects to fascinate the kids.
For scenic short hikes in the Yucaipa area, this "loop" hike is high on the list. It's got a lot of shade, narrow slot-like paths, and scenic 360 degree views. It's worth doing. Recommended only if you want something close by, without travel time.

nice easy trail with good views if you want easy, but you can also climb up the ridge fur a much harder hike with an even better view.
