Was not the best "hike" it was just a walk down to the river. But even though we were expecting to hike we just swam and sun bathed instead. Not a good hiking spot but good spot to just chill with a pic-nic and a suit.
This was not a trail, it was a road down to the water. It was half shade half sun. Easy going down but tough coming back up. All trails app said dogs ok however the trail had a no dog sign. Not the best scenery.. we roughed it out hoping for a nice water spot at the end, no suck luck. It was muddy and no where to sit. Won't do this trail again :(
A pretty short hike down to the lake where there is a small access area to the lake. Unfortunately not a lot to see until you get to the lake. but a nice diversion from the connector trail.
It was a decent hike, but the location at the lake was disappointing. Thought there would be a spot for the kids to take a break and play in the water. That's if you don't mind ski boats flying by. Ended up hiking in and then hiking out. The kids were disappointed. There are definitely nicer spots on Lake Clementine than this one.
Directions are confusing as the pin isn't dropped at the trailhead, but if you go to where el dorado meets 49 and park you can find it. Decent hike. Not terribly difficult, but not a walk in the park either.
Great, challenging at times, hike. Beautiful views.
Can anyone tell me if I can bring my dog on this trail?
Hard, lots of steep trails. Bring water and comfortable clothes.
Before I moved, this was my absolutely favorite trail! Never crowded. There is a beautiful area to swim at the end.
It's a great view, but if you're going to adventure out off the trail make sure you have plenty of water & daylight.
I am putting the Gate 150 trail in this location since there doesn't seem to be a listing for it on the site. The trail is an easy, mostly flat trail to Calcutta Falls. The only up / down part is at the falls. It is very beautiful and worthy of your time. Good for your dog and if you like to ride a horse.
