HikingClosed

The waterfall is CLOSED, but you don't find that out until you've driven there, parked at the trailhead, walked the half mile, and suddenly 50' from the base of the falls there's a permanent fence and 6 signs saying "DANGER" and "falling rocks" and "TRAIL CLOSED"...but the odd thing is, people just walk around the permanent fence and signs. I did too, because clearly the signs are there for some reason other than safety. Maybe liability CYA (cover your a**) for the Parks Department. They could have put a noticed up on the website about the closure, but don't. They could have put signs up at the parking lot, but don't. They could have added signs at the trailhead too, but none were there. So there's a cognitive dissonance. It's really odd. If it's truly unsafe for people they should do something about it, like actually enforce the closure. Or fix the hillside. At least now, you, unlike me, have been warned ahead of time.

Hiking

Very short but very nice shaded hike. Hiked it in the late afternoon with kids. Took about 10 minutes to get to the waterfall. Not crowded on a Thursday afternoon. Waterfall wasn’t very big but it was still a beautiful hike. Restrooms at parking lot.

Ohmigish what a neat little trail. Short walk up to the featured waterfall. There wasn't much water flowing but it was still impressive.

WalkingGreat!

It was beautifully stated, and well kept. However it is a bit too crowded for my taste, and very short. It’s off of a very nice park where you can picnic or barbecue. (2) Bathroom facilities. Lots of parking within park

Nice walk. Short. Lots of people. I would wear better shoes due to slippery and muddy in areas. Small waterfall right now.

Trail is short and sweet, but wear good shoes (with grips) because it’s slippery and there’s lots of loose rocks. Totally worth it to see that adorable little waterfall though.

Cannot access a decent view of the falls, legally. can only see bottom 1/3. Honestly don't feel like it was worth the detour.

HikingGreat!

Trail was beautiful and green from the rain. It is a shorter hike but all up hill to get to the falls. Kid and dog friendly. There was a lot of water flowing, we could hear it as we approached.

Walking

This area is nice although is not really a hike is more of a family walk at a park. Its perfect if you have small kids or old dogs with you. Good to get out without having to pack any gear, water or snacks.
