This is a good hiking trail also. Damage from vehicles is unnoticable. It's a very nice canyon hike with lots of interesting rock formations. Mostly flat and a lot of soft sand to walk on.
Nighmare if you don't like to side hill!
Omg. 5 miles of big rocks winding through tight canyon walls. Very difficult. 4x4 with lockers a must. 35" tires help
Five-mile loop trail in Red Rock Canyon State Park off Hwy. 14 north of Mojave, CA. is a fun, easy hike with rock-climbing or bouldering included. Winter time is optimum season to hike since there is no shade and it can get hot in the summer months. Wonderful rock formations, ravins and geological variations provide great photography opportunities.
