Beautiful destination. When you arrive and park in the big open lot, take the road that goes up, behind you once you park. There are a few smaller trails off the main trail for beautiful detours. Lots of beautiful springs, mossy covered ruins, and the falls with a cave. Stunning. Road is muddy in places and there is a bit of an incline near the end, but worth it!

You have the impression is super crowded, but it’s mostly because you have a very reduced space in the waterfalls. Looks like a very famous spot in the area. To the left, you have a lower waterfall no as impressive, but worth the try and Ney Springs also to the left. Some parts of the road that is part of the trail is muddy.

A bit hard for an “easy” trail But I’m fat as fuck and asthmatic so maybe it just me. It’s a Decent uphill climb to the falls But worth it really beautiful with lots of stuff to look at on the way.

Quick and easy. Trailhead sits behind you if you are facing the river, marked by a white sign with writing. If you keep straight up the trail, it gets a little steep but it brings you above the top of the waterfall, also a trail down to the right of the big rock that puts you right at the top of the falls. Waterfall was really flowing today.

Go early spring, prior to the falls there are three short trails to the left, be sure to explore them all. And there is a trail on the west side to climb to the top of the falls

Stunning! There are a couple small side paths to the left. First one lead to a well of some sorts. A man there said it was mineral water, and I don’t doubt him. It was stinky stinky. Another turn off lead down to the base of the waterfall. Stunning! Then if you go all the way to the top of the trail, and climb on top of the rocks, you get the most tremendous view of the mountains and the waterfall from above. Very Easy path overall- the side path to the base was a little trickier.

Great trail, well trafficked, family/kid friendly. Park at the bottom and hike up. Old resort ruins are a neat piece of history as your about a mile in. Shortly after the ruins the logging trail will continue but the small trail to the left will take you to the falls not hard to miss. Beautiful falls! Went last week (April) and it was flowing beautifully!

I did this trail last year and it was amazing. It was a little tricky to find out it where the trail actually started. I started low next to the water and then ended having to bear crawl up the side of the mountain- definitely don’t recommend this route. Also I went passed the water, to the very top, overlooking the entire valley and waterfall below. A little sketchy, but definitely worth it

Awesome short hike with a magical pay off. No trail head so it was a little tricky to figure which direction to start out. Moderate incline, neat to see the old ruins. The falls were amazing, freezing as we went in January.. so dress accordingly, gloves I’d recommend. So worth it tho!

Beautiful! Secluded. I would say moderate for the incline. Took some side trails. Falls are magical.

Good climb with some springs making mud in road. This follows a logging road most of way then trail cuts off to left when you are at the falls. This foot path goes to base of falls. The logging road continues and I believe it would go another 1.5 miles to Castle Lake road per map. I only followed it steeply for another .2 miles. Falls is small but beautiful.

I thought this trail was pretty easy. Takes about 15 minutes each way. The waterfall is nice and worth the hike. Just follow the trail on this app and you’ll be on your way. You’ll have to make a left going down when you hit a fork in the road. Look for the stone arrow on the ground which will point the way.

Very difficult to find. When it says you’ve arrived, park in the big open space on the left and walk back to the road you were driving on and head up. The hike is straight up a hill but has lots of loose rocks which make coming down slippery. To get to the falls you have to scramble down a steep slope which is also slippery. I would not call this easy. Not super hard but but getting to the falls was a bit precarious. Take your third left to the falls. The second left to the pond was worth it as well but even steeper of a scramble down to it.

The short stroll to the falls is quite easy, though can be muddy. Falls can be crowded on the weekend. There are remnants of a historic spring resort along the path.
