Fairly steep trail through Newhall Pass Open Space, a critical wildlife corridor in the Santa Susana Mountains. Great views of the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys, DTLA on a clear day, and the I-5 CA-14 interchange, though you are never out of earshot of the freeway.
