This trail is great once you figure out how to pass the construction. There are bald eagles on the trail.

Great trail, under construction for the first little bit but other than that it was nice. Near the river and has some good views. It is family/dog friendly.

Thankful for map. Part of the trail was closed but found a slightly different route. Lots of bikes on the path but none rude. Awesome walk right along the river

We went on this hike with our 3 kids ages 11, 6 and 3 it was a really nice hike. We seen the bald Eagles and had beautiful views of lake Natoma we also went down to the water and had lunch. the only downside is no signs to follow through the trail if I didn't have the app we would have easily missed the trail.

Watch out for psychotic bikers who get mad, but then don’t follow their own rules. Very nice walk along the river.

This was an awesome trail, but of course on the bike path there will be a lot of bikers. When up on the "butte" as they call it, make sure you look for the bald eagle! Great path for all levels.

The trail was muddy but a sort of slippery fun for my 5 year old and I. There was a bald eagle nesting that the locals are heavily invested in and will eagerly share there stories and pictures of sightings. The trail is partially closed due to mid slides, however, the locals simply go around the barricades. There are so many off trail sightings to explore. My son and I explored this really cool rock mound created from Gold mining. In the summer this area is filled with rattle snakes. BE AWARE. The locals are awesome and are great about answering questions.
