This was our first hike ever and I have to say it was pretty steep but the view were really nice. I'm not sure how long it is because we didn't make it all the way, the sign at the beginning said it was a 10 mile hike but the app says it's only 0.7 so not to sure

Short but super Intense hike. It’s like going to a huge stair case all the way to the benches. Where it ends but you can continue to connect to other trials. Follow the white dots

Great hike, good cardio and great views! Ends at the picnic tables, where you can either turn back or continue the North Lykken trail (another 45mn) that ends on Ramon Rd. I would reiterate two things: 1) keep your eyes on the white dots. Many ways to veer off trail if you don’t. 2) it’s somewhat of a scramble. I had to sit/use my hands on several occasions while hiking back down. Definitely on the harder side of moderate. Up and back down took me 1 h 20 mn, not counting break to rest once the picnic tables reached. I hike a bunch and was in cardio mode, but I’m also a short 4-month pregnant women for reference. I saw a bunch of kids making it up.

The 291 feet of elevation is only the first part until you get to the paved driveway. After crossing the pavement you will continue climbing another several hundred feet of elevation. You will be scrambling up rocks a lot, it’s not just a path that you walk along. Def more difficult than we had expected. It is a fun climb and the views are terrific but for many this will be on the harder side of moderate.

Great little trail. Definitely underestimated it and went in Birkenstock’s which I don’t recommend haha Fantastic view! It was crazy windy though.

I took a night hike with the tac-light...no wildlife spotting. Short but the elevation was a good workout after a long day of travel from Maryland.

Saturday afternoon in January. Perfect weather, light crowd on trail. Trail is marked with white dots. If you’re staying in downtown Palm Springs, you can easily walk to the trailhead and get some good exercise. We took a detour onto the Skyline Trail for a little ways to extend it, ended up a pretty good 2-hr hike. The views are mostly of the city, but you get some nice views of the mountains around too.
